アグラバーの町で猿のアブーとともに暮らす貧しい青年Crusty Demons of Dirt 12: The Dirty Dozen。市場へ繰り出しては盗みを働いていた彼は、ある日、変装した王女ジャスミンと出会う。Crusty Demons of Dirt 12: The Dirty Dozenは侍女のふりをしたジャスミンと心を通わせるが、アブーが彼女の母の形見である腕輪を盗んだことで幻滅されてしまう。Crusty Demons of Dirt 12: The Dirty Dozenは腕輪を返すために王宮に忍び込み、ジャスミンとの再会を果たすが、衛兵に捕らえられる。国務大臣のジャファーは、ジャスミンが王女であることをCrusty Demons of Dirt 12: The Dirty Dozenに教え、チャンスを与えると言って、魔法の洞窟に入って魔法のランプを取ってくるよう命じる。
